Promise Keepers 2007
On August 17th and 18th of this year Phil Groos, Darin Berkley, and Chris Lonas traveled to the “Promise Keepers” rally in Cincinnati, Ohio. The event was held at “Bank One” arena. The arena holds over 10,000 people, and it was standing room only. The overriding theme for both days was the importance of belonging to an accountability group, or having an accountability partner. Proverbs 27: 17 says “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”. When we talk, confess, and pray with other men, it makes us spiritually sharper. The trip was awesome, and we hope to make this and annual event at The Church at Sterchi Hills.
